About the Event

The Wright Family Foundation, CEDA, Manawatu District Council, Kiwibots and Central Robotics proudly present the 2021 VEX IQ Challenge National Championships for NZ.

Teams from all across NZ gather to compete at the VEX IQ Challenge Nationals to show us what they've got with the new season's game and compete for spots to represent New Zealand at the 2022 VEX World Championships, held in Dallas, Texas.

This will be a 2 day event (Saturday 29 Jan - Sunday 30 Jan) with early check in/inspection available Friday afternoon.

Event schedule will be uploaded closer to the event.

The event is free to attend and spectate, thanks to the support of The Wright Family Foundation, CEDA (Central Economic Development Agency), and Manawatu District Council.

Registration Fees for Teams

Note a registration fee (separate to your annual registration with REC Foundation) will be required prior to the event to cover costs of the event. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors - this fee has been waived for all teams travelling from outside the Manawatu region, and a significant $100 discount has been applied for local teams.
